基本上，我仍屬於微軟的愛用者。 記得大學到研究所期間(1994-2001)，還有同學開玩笑地說我是「比爾蓋茲的走狗」，因為我都會買去原版的微軟作業系統。從Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 專業版，都有盒裝的版本，畢竟家裡也都支持這樣的理念。後來買了筆記型電腦都有附作業系統，並且學校也有大量授權版的Windows XP Professional是可以給學生用的，所以之後才沒有繼續買盒裝版的。
